Primo's Classic Thai pad in microfibre — the sensible choice for a pad that gets held by a lot of sweating people.
Microfibre is lighter than leather, wipes clean, and does not hold odour. It is also genuinely durable now, which it was not a decade ago. And weight matters more than people expect on a Thai pad: holder fatigue ends more pad sessions than the striker running out of gas.
The curved striking face cradles the shin as the kick lands, so the holder absorbs the force through the forearm rather than fighting to keep the pad square.
