Fairtex Kids Shin Guards - Red (SPK9)
Description
A properly built shin guard for a child — a smaller version of the Fairtex SP3, ergonomically shaped for a child's leg rather than scaled down from an adult pattern.
There are no metal loops on the straps. This makes these legal for amateur competition and it removes a hard metal edge from a piece of kit that spends its life crashing into another child's shin.
Syntek leather with extra reinforced padding across the front of the shin and over the toe. The lining is cotton stretch denim, which grips the leg and stops the guard sliding down mid-round — the single most common complaint about children's shin guards.
Sizing — measure, do not guess. Match your child's shin length to the chart below rather than going by age alone. Measure from the bottom of the kneecap to the top of the foot with the leg bent at 90 degrees.
| Size | Shin Length | Foot Length |
|---|---|---|
| 8 to 10 | 26 cm | 11 cm |
| 10 to 12 | 28 cm | 11.5 cm |
Features:
- Designed for children aged 8 to 12
- No metal loops — approved for amateur competition
- Durable Syntek leather
- Extra reinforced padding on the shin and toe
- Cotton stretch denim lining to prevent slipping
