Description
An open-palm MMA sparring glove built for a child's hand — one of very few genuinely made for children rather than scaled down from an adult pattern.
The open palm leaves the fingers free for grappling and gripping, with padding across the knuckle for striking. A secure hook-and-loop wrist strap keeps the glove from rotating when a child posts or frames.
These are sparring gloves, not competition gloves. They carry meaningfully more knuckle padding than a 4oz competition glove, which is what a child training regularly needs.
Note that MMA gloves are not a substitute for Muay Thai sparring gloves — for stand-up sparring, a child should wear 6oz or 8oz boxing gloves.
